Kazi Jesin Appointed Director General of BTV

The government has appointed Kazi Jesin as the Director General of Bangladesh Television (BTV) on a contractual basis for a term of one year. A notification to this effect was issued on Thursday (August 6) by the Contract and Foreign Employment Branch of the Ministry of Public Administration.

According to the notification, under Section 11(2) of the Bangladesh Television Authority Act, 2001, Kazi Jesin has been appointed to the post of Director General of BTV for a one-year period from the date of joining, subject to relinquishing any employment relationship with any other profession, business, or government, semi-government, or private organization.
